| Events Board Meetings Regular board meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday of every month at Home State Bank, 303 East Mountain Avenue at 7:30 am. Meetings are open to the public. Big Ideas! The Downtown Development Authority wants to hear any BIG IDEAS that could benefit downtown. Join us at a monthly meeting and tell us about your innovative thinking, creative solutions, and cool or exciting concepts. For more information call 970-484-2020. Looking to host a community event? The atrium of the Opera Galleria, located at 123 N. College Avenue, is owned by the Downtown Development Authority and is available for community functions at no cost. Art exhibits, chamber music concerts, the winter farmers markets, craft shows, and First Night Fort Collins have all used the space. A couple of reminders: all users of the Opera Galleria must be aware that the space is a public right of way. Users can not impede regular business activity or pedestrian traffic in the building. It is not designed for parties or meetings; for example, there are no tables or chairs available rent and no amenities for catering. The soaring atrium can make sound a challenge. As a public space, the Opera Galleria is not available for closed private parties. All users must provide proof of insurance.
